About the Author
Richard Milward submitted his first novel to Faber when he was just 16. Apples
, his first published novel, came out in 2007 when he was 22, and received huge critical acclaim. In 2007 Richard was shortlisted for the South Bank Show Times Breakthrough Award and he has recently graduated from Central St Martin's Art College with a Fine Art degree. He lives in Middlesbrough, where he grew up.
