As the book points out, we all procrastinate at various times in our lives. Some of us do it more regularly than others. The first half of this book goes over the various causes and effects of procrastination, and the different types (yes, apparently there are different types of procrastinators!). In the second half, readers are given a number of ideas on how to beat procrastination, be it in the workplace, at school, or at home.

While I expected the "how-to" portion to show up a bit earlier in the book, the information provided in the first half about the habit of procrastination can be considered advice in itself. It prompted me to look at my own tendencies and examine the reasons I might put things off. Simply identifying *why* I procrastinate (as suggested in Chapter 7) will go a long way towards keeping myself from heading in that direction, and for that, I have to say I liked this book.

This book covers several things about procrastination, yet the section that truly gave me that AhHa moment is the section called Chapter 2 - Effects of Procrastination. This explains how this bad habit negatively affect so many areas of ones life as: Relationships, Career, Mental Health, Physical Health, Emotional Condition, and Quality of Life.
This section, I read three times and took notes, it caused me to begin at once to change this habit FOR GOOD!
