A fantastic Northen Soul CD at an unbeleiveable price.

I have been a life long fan of Northern Soul for the best part of 40 years and most of these collections are pretty good.
This one I found a little disappointing. Most of the tracks are obscure and it is easy to see why.
A couple of jems however- disc one - I spy for the FBI. disc two - Sweet and easy by the sadly missed Van MCoy.
However given the low price of this collection and some of the others like it is probably worth getting for your own compilations.
Not a patch on the Twisted Wheel collection.

As with all Northern oul compilations I find lots of tracks have appeared else where. None the less there was sufficent here to make me purchase. Really fantastic value and to new comer to the music it would be a great album to buy.
I still enjoyed it and it has bolstered my already bloated collection.
