A fascinating book containing interesting information on this great club. Stoke City were formed in 1863 thus making them the second oldest football club in the world. They spawned legends like John Marsh, Denis Smith, Alan Bloor, Terry Conroy, John Ritchie, Jimmy Greenhoff and the irrepressible Eric Skeels. They also won an unforgettable League Cup final against Chelsea in 1972. A piece of history which will obviously appeal to fans of the Staffordshire club but is absorbing to anyone interested in the game and great clubs.
