Bought this for my Canon Speedlite 430ex Mk2 and it fits perfectly and works as expected, creating more of a light fill than harsh direct light.
The Paperwork with it states it reduces the Canon's indicated maximum distance by a factor of 2.5. Not sure if this is the case but I won't argue. It also states never use it in the normal straight ahead position except in TTL Mode. It states for best results use at 45 degress, as it's designed as a flash bounce I suppose most of us would know this already.
One final thing, I store mine on my flash, it is just a little too large (long) to fasten up in the case provided but the case is wide enough, but I can live wih that as it also affords protection to the Flash Lens. A great cheap addition, fully compatible with it seems both Canon Speedlites 430 Mk's 1&2.

Works well and is very portable, so makes s useful addition to a photographer's kit bag, but seems over-priced for a simple lump of plastic. It seems hard to believe that it works significantly better than some of the much cheaper, unbranded versions.
I'd certainly recommend buying this or an equivalent, but if possible buy other types of diffuser as well, perhaps including a flash umbrella for portraits. Then experiment with them, including simple ceiling/wall bounce, and choose the technique that best suits the circumstances and subject.

I have a Canon Speedlite 430 EX ll flash which for many pictures was a little harsh, fitting the Sto-Fen Omni Bounce Flash Diffuser gave a fantastic soft flash. The diffuser fitted my flash perfectly as they said it would.I would recommmend this product, you can buy cheaper ones but will they fit so perfectly?.

Good product but expensive
Product fits the Canon 430EXII well and works as described, but I cannot really see the difference between this StoFen product and the JJC product at about half the price.
