She has exhibited for several years and also teaches across the UK. She is the author of Stitching To Dye in Quilt Art, also published by Batsford. She lives in Hastings, East Sussex.

this is a wonderful book, whether you're interested in quiting, dying or manipulating fabric. It is so full of information and inspiration. As soon as I started to look through it I became really excited as the dying section is so well informed. I've been using proceon dyes for ages but I've now realised that there's a lot about them that I didn't know. This is a book to study carefully as there's so much to take in. Really well worth while buying.

This book reflects the author, it is a generous sharing of her ideas and techniques.
All the ideas are easily achievable by novices and there are enough prompts to
encourage experienced stitchers to learn too. I have read it again and again and continually
find ideas to make me try out new ideas and help others to learn.
