Format: Hardcover
A fascinating insight into Davids life first as a country vet, then as a small animal vet in the Harmsworth hospital. A nymphomaniac cow, a budgie with a broken foot, a ferret called Johnny whose owner, Molly (a Marilyn Monroe lookalike) has a rather novel hiding place for him, and a cat called Horace, with his over doting elderly owner are just some of the characters you meet along the way.
Also an insight into Davids life and loves, and an eye opening look into the more nasty aspects of a RSPCA vets work, animal cruelty feature heavily in this book

Once again David Grant has served up a truly great book. The stories and characters are again told with such vividness that after each chapter you really want to keep reading to find out how things progress. The issues of animal cruelty are another interesting facet of a vet's life that are recounted in this book as well as Mr Grant's continued career all the way to the Animal hospital. I can't wait to read David Grant's next book.
