great 26 Sep 2003
Format:Paperback
This book really is excellent. It was the 2nd of Donnelly's books that I have read, the 1st being Bane. I think that this book has a really great story line and the characters are developed extremely well. The ending isn't a huge surprise, but a fitting one to a great, but flawed book. The main flaw being the over-use of gore.

Fantastic!!!! 7 Jan 2012
Format:Paperback
I feel that I needed to leave this review to balance it up as I can't believe that the average star rating for this is 2.5!!!!

I read this book years ago and was the first Joe Donnelly book that I'd read which also set me in my quest of finding and reading the rest of his books! I have to say that this book I loved it and still recommend it to this day!! I remember straight off the bat it starts at a fast pace and I absolutely loved it!!!

I know there are very limited books that he has written and all I can ask is to please write more!!!!

Good lord! 6 Aug 2008
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
Shocking, stomach turning, amazingly awful - and that's just the plot! Pasta that comes to life? Man eating trees?! It was like The Simpsons do Horror without the humour. Seriously Joe - give up and get a better job - this one you are NOT cut out for!
