About the Author
Louie Spence, one of the country’s most hilarious celebrities and talented dancers, is currently a judge on Dancing On Ice. Louie got his big break dancing in the award-winning production of Miss Saigon and went on to star in Cats. But his talent took him to even higher levels, and he was soon sharing a stage with the Spice Girls and Take That. He became the star of the documentary series Pineapple Dance Studios and its follow-up Louie Spence’s Showbusiness.
Louie was born in Ponders End and raised in Braintree, Essex. He lives with his partner in London.

The best thing is the stories about his family and his nan - you can see where he gets it from, they're all so funny. This should be a TV show - his dad dressing up in Louie's lycra gear alone would be worth seeing.
This isn't one of those miserable biographies, it makes you want to shout out loud with laughter while reading it. You get a sense of what a lovely man he must be - he doesn't take himself seriously at all. I'm definitely recommending this to my friends and it's on the Christmas list for at least two people I know would love this.
Well done Louie!
It isn't all song and dance, he has been through some rough times, but what really comes out on top with this book is the concept that if you feel passionate enough about something, go for it and you will achieve it. Very funny, honest and inspirational. A must-have.
