Contrary to the other reviews this album is not trance. Like many recent releases on the anjunabeats & anjunadeep label this album delivers some incredibly diverse electronic music. The basis of Dusky's sound is tech house music, with brilliant genre transitions to and from orchestral scores and light drum and bass episodes that break up the pace and feel of the album. As a piece of music you would have thought this duo had released many albums before, as the quality of production on this record is amongst the best in the business. Of all the albums this year, this is one of those that will have you in awe as you sit and listen on your own in your armchair. Whilst all the same delivering some great dancefloor groove moments. Very highly recommended.

I came across this album whilst working through the Anjunadeep back catalogue. I've no idea how to categorise it... Progressive deep melodic house? It's a very unique and grown up combination of gorgeous vocals, orchestral strings and deep house beats.

A personal favourite is the track 'Thought Emotions', the modulating intensity of which captures perfectly the feelings of someone who isn't in a happy place. But this is a rare dark moment - the rest of the tracks are nothing if not uplifting.

Also worth a mention is the superb production. It's beautifully mixed and staged with the sound just leaping out of the speakers.

Overall, it's a work of genius. If the guys from Dusky ever read this... make more please.

This is without doubt the best album I've bought in a long, long time, debatably ever.

All the songs are melodic house/chillout, cleverly and carefully crafted with injections of classical instruments: Piano, strings etc., especially the use of the double bass for basslines! Each song is built gently and subtly, gradually growing and taking you places you are not expecting, leading to classy and understated masterpieces.

For me the standout songs are Falling, It's not Enough (the one the introduced me to Dusky via MoS Chilled House III) and the gorgeous Lost in You. There are another 6 or so very good tracks and no fillers at all.

Takes me back to my teens when I first "found" my love of good soulful dance music!
So good I might buy the CD again just in case I should ever lose it, despite all the digital copies.
