This is an excellent book giving an academically researched report on workplace representation by Union shopstewards. It is not outdated despite its date of publication, because human nature does not change much over even a thousand years, and all workkplaces have the same effect on collective behaviour.

It was well-researched, and would still make a good study book for those who wish to understand more about organisation of trade Union members and their representatives..

There are not many books like this out there, and what thiere is, is very expensive. Unfortunately one can only get this second-hand (as far as I can see)
