Product Description

Cello World is a must for all cellists. It is a wonderful collection of original works and arrangements from the repertoire of world-famous cellist Steven Isserlis. The inspired line up of pieces includes Schumann's moving 'Intermezzo', Leonard's 'The Donkey and the Driver' and Villa-Lobo's rippling 'Song of the Black Swan'. This is the perfect volume for cellists looking for a variety of challenging repertoire.

Editing seems pretty good and the range of music is interesting.

Some of it is far to hard for me (Elfantanz eg. will probably always be beyond most cellists) but there are some really nice intermediate pieces. Particularly like the Donkey and the Driver - great fun for cello and piano.

Editing seems pretty useful and fingering realistic.
