This book is simply a must for any McQueen fan - from et die hard fan to the causal admirer of his films or passion for motors.
Terrill has offered something really unique here - its a run through over everything McQueen related from the large scale to the small yet interesting. It has comments from McQueen contempories and fans alike, each offering a fresh and interesting perspective. A milestone has been presented here in how an icon is presented - both pictorially and texturally.
The book is huge as well, in excess of 400 colour glossy pages - with amazing print quality and detail. Some of the photos are breathtaking and some are so rare and will be new to even the most feverish fan.
This is an essential purchase, beautifully presented and fitting for the king of Cool.

How fabulous is this! When first received the book, I sat down to glance through the wonderful photographs and got absolutely hooked - did'nt get up again for an hour. You cannot fail to be impressed if you are a fan or just loved his films.

I will say from the beginning I am perhaps a little bias toward the book, having been asked as a McQueen fan in the UK by Marshall to carry out some interviews for this book. Putting that aside and looking at the book from a fans perspective this is simply one of the best books on McQueen with a miriad of new short and exciting stories by people who were lucky enough to encounter McQueen throughout his life.
The stories are intimate and give you a much better insight into the personal world of Steve McQueen. You also get a look at a load of new photos. It really is a triumphant book and a real must for all fans.

A Tribute to the King of Cool
I bought this book for my husband, and he absolutely loves it. Says it is very emotional, a great read, especially if you are a fan of the late great Steve McQueen.
