This is an interesting album, a collaboration from West Coast artists and a producer from Brooklyn. The style of Strong Arm Steady is well complemented by Statik Selektah's production and the album transitions well. The production is very laid back, solely produced by Statik Selektah, delivering his traditional sound with a little bit more of a West Coast feel. From a lyrical standpoint, there is nothing special there; Krondon and Mitchy Slick flow well while Phil Da Agony remains rather annoying. The trio is accompanied by solid hooks, which is the usual when Krondon is present and with scratches from Statik. Nice and relaxing, good casual listen.
