From the start of 'Return of the Singer' to the End of 'I Went Over the Edge of the World' you'll be hooked to this CD! As soon as I found out last June that this album was coming out I pre-ordered from the States to make sure I was one of the first people in England to get a copy, and it was well worth it.
You'll fall under the spell of Kevin's soft, sensuous voice and just not want to turn this CD off! It combines many kinds of music from the softer 'Be' to the anthemic rock track 'Deconstructing Venus', and the first US single 'Existence' is garanteed to have you singing the chorus over and over again and not getting sick of it sending chills up and down your whole body.
The album combines all of Kevin's musical influences; from Oasis-esque stompers, to Duran Duran like, weird, spaced out songs that'll have you singing forever, to the very Bono-esque, U2 sounding hidden track 3 minutes into track 14. Give it a listen.
I cannot recommend this album highly enough, and suggest you listen to Tait, and TobyMac's albums too, you will just want to keep the DC Talk 'Solo' vibe going 'On And On'!
