Number 4 and my favourite of the SUSHI series by a mile. They're all good, but this one's great, better than version Wasabi (number 5) in my opinion.
Disc1 is chilled enough to listen to in the car or at work without you in trouble, but just grrrovy enough to make you want to dance. Favourite track on CD1 is "Waterslide".
Disc2 ups the beat a bit, and the cheese factor too. Top track of CD2 is "Specialize In Love" and "Brother On The Run" will make you smile :) Just like that.

It's all good. Buy it. Love it.
Number 6 in the Stereo Sushi series is out today, and I can't wait.

UMM ! 3 Feb 2003
Format:Audio CD
Stereo sushi is back with it's 4th release in a year-wow !! i never bought the first two so i cant comment on those, but i did buy the last one which was very good. I normally buy Hed Kandi's Disco Kandi series but thought i'd try this and i havent been disappointed so far. CD 1 is usually a bit more mellow in tone than CD 2 Which is more upbeat.some of the tracks on hear could easily be included on a disco kand compo so i hope mark doyle and chums havent given up on those CD's ! Anyway On CD 1 the best tracks are the gorgeous mellow "naturally" by Kimblee (buyers of beach house 3 will know her song "fade") Kaskades-"I feel like" and Hi-Fi Mikes-"stero flavas" On Cd 2 we get some real uptempo funky house which includes a brilliant remix by blaze of "little l" by jamiroquai and Mousse T's infectious " Brother on the Run" elsewhere The Rawsoul Orchestra cover Sharon Browns early 80's funk of "specialize in love" and lastly groove junkies appear on a SS Cd again with their "Gonna get by". If you are a fan of previous Stereo Sushis you cant really go wrong and those of you who buy Disco Knandi CD'S i recommend you give this one a try too-Highly recommended.

This is another (how many times do we have to say this) great compilation from Hed Kandi. Stereo Sushi - what a trendy name! Futomaki! Think its the name of the Sushi of the Year 2003. Mixed by (already) legend Mark Doyle, this CD marks a new era for Hed Kandi music. This is no chill out CD nor do you expect the DJ to play any of these songs when you're out clubbing. You are just left with the CD player and your head nodding and nodding for almost 3 hours. "Don't You Love Me" is a real banger - it just makes you smile for six minutes, "Little L" in a new - and improved - wrapping for kandi lovers. "Breathe" from Blaze is a real classic you just would like to hear over and over again. With every Kandi CD, you are just a bit disappointed after the first time you hear it - however, deep inside you already now that this compilation just gets better everytime you put it on. Personally, I dont know where its gonna end between Stereo Sushi 4 and me. Its just one of the greatest Kandi CDs ever heard
