After going through all the advertised adapters I chose this one as the reviews seemed quite good. I ordered the adapter by the picture they have advertised as it was small & just what I was after but BEWARE because the 1 they send is nothing like the picture they use. I wanted the small 1 to replace the long 1 I already have that came with the phone (the long wires can be very annoying)but when it came today it is a extremely long adapter. I'm more than annoyed because in my opinion, when you internet shop you expect to receive what is in the picture NOT something totally different!! This needs to be sorted ASAP!

I ordered two of these - one for me, and one for my little brother (with a similar phone). It works great, which is good, because a certain little brother of mine broke the original headphones which came with his phone, and went on borrow (then lose) my original set.
A good product for the price, but I was slightly disappointed that I can't play the radio through them, as this was my main intention, but they do work fine for the mp3 players. So yeah, definitely not a waste of money, a great CHEAP alternative to buying the proper head phones from Samsung. Plus it saves you having to carry round two separate set of headphones (your Samsung phone ones, and your regular ones) , which is always a benefit!

First off, if you're expecting quality (for £1.99!?), you're in the wrong place. However, that's not to say that this product is a bad buy - I'm not sure if spending an extra £1 for a similar adapter on amazon will get you anything different.
The adapter fits nicely in the mobile's socket. The short wire is enough to give you a bit more freedom in how you position the phone. The headphone jack, however, is a very tight fit depending on the headphones, and has a 'rough' finish. Overall, it gets the job done, even if it is rough around the edges.
(I did have a problem with bad sound quality the first time I reviewed these. However, it turns out this was the fault of the phone. If you're getting strange results, in the mp3 player, go to options, and change 'sound effects' to 'surround'.)

SGH-J700i - no good for the radio
Although the phone recognizes a headphone has been plugged in, it would appear it can't use it as an aerial - so the radio doesn't work. Read more

It works
It works as headset and it fit nicely to Samsung Tocco light. Radio works nicely. so far it is good and cheap. And it's long as well.

3.5mm Adapter
Bought this for my Samsung Taco light phone in case I forgot the headphones which go with it so I can use my ordinary headphones with it and the adapter does the trick.Superb
