Format:Paperback
This book is an essential read for anyone engaging in CBT or REBT. It clearly explains the principles for leading an emotionally healthy life, and for avoiding uneccessary distress. I recommend it to virtually all my clients as a foundation of the work I do with them. One other recommendation - avoid the version printed by Orient Publishing, it frequently seems to have pages printed out of sequence and plenty of typographical errors. Spend a couple more pounds on the Sheldon Press version. (No, I'm not on a commission!)

It explains the difference between healthy and unhealthy emotions and how they are created from healthy and unhealthy beliefs. Ten steps to positive living - overcoming common problems
Quite dated now. Good theories and principles but quite basic - not many practical tools to help one implement the steps.
