This book incorporates spirituality with day-to-day experiences in a human, humorous style. It is easy to read with simple exercises and the author uses her own personal experience to demonstrate any points she makes. Laid out well, not at all heavy or daunting, after I finished the book I felt enthusiastic and happy about pursuing a more positive, loving way of life. GE makes you realise that Heaven is here and now and does this in a fun and inspiring way. One of those books you keep going back to.

Stepping into the Magic is literally an invitation to do just that. Open the pages, open yourself, step into the magic and your life will change. Gill Edwards writes in a very 'down to Earth' way, even though 'down to Earth', isn't really a phrase that readily springs to mind when talking about the spiritual. The book is also laid out in a very clear and accessable manner. Filled with the authors philosophies and spiritual exercises, 'simple enough to do at home', I found that I didn't always agree with everything Gill Edwards had to say, but it is easy to see and respect her great wisdom. This wonderful book is both practical and inspiring.

I quite enjoyed this book but it refers a lot to Shamanic practices such as journeying. It is full of ideas for imagery and meditation though and I don't think it requires a reader familiar with shamanism to get stuck into this book. I would say the most important thing is to approach it with an open mind and not be afraid to use lots of imagination. It works for me and its one of those books that I'm likely to dip into for some different meditation ideas.

I highly recommend this book. Gill Edwards has a very readable style of writing and is a joy to read.
One to reread many times over, containing humour, wisdom and some very powerful guided meditations.
I must admit that I put off buying this one because of the mention in the description that it was about a form of Shamanism, which doesn't particularly interest me. However, I am delighted that I bought it, I have several of her other books and this one adds to her delightful and powerful messages brilliantly.

Format: Paperback
STEPPING INTO THE MAGIC: A NEW APPROACH TO EVERYDAY LIFE by GILL EDWARDS contains the classic 'List' - a List similar to 'The List' Anne Jones book 'Heal Yourself' and Louise L. Hay's book 'You Can Heal Your Life'.
GILL EDWARDS' List is called 'Body Language'.

The book goes one step further than 'Heal Yourself' and 'You Can Heal Your Life', as it also Lists the names of a few Gods/Goddesses and Animals. It has an Index for you to tailor your studies to suit your personal needs and enhance, sustain and maintain 'your' Magic Moments.
It teaches you how to work the Magic of your dreams and aspirations into the reality of your life - the Here And Now - Today and Tomorrow.
It teaches you how you can have a better relationship with 'The World'

The title of the book is also psychologicaly powerful. It quickly dispels any anxieties you may have about reading 'another book on healing oneself' and/or 'Desperately Seeking Therapy'.
The Author makes you feel so relaxed that you 'drop your guard' instantaneously and 'Open To Receive'. That in effect (once you've realised) makes you feel that you are Not alone or powerless to change.

However, 'Magic' is An Illusion - An Illusion designed to make you believe that 'all is well' - An Illusion that gives you a temporary 'feel Good factor'.

Thank You!
