So, you want to know a little bit about the person who wrote these poems? It's understandable. Okay, here's some facts.

I'm a former feature writer and arts critic who lives in Glasgow, Scotland. I now work as a media officer and magazine editor, but the cornerstone of my life is being a devoted father and expressing my ideas and feelings through writing, most especially through poetry. I studied poetry at university and I've spent years analysing and learning the sonnets of William Shakespeare and Elizabeth Barrett Browning. I regularly take part in poetry events in Scotland and I'm currently working on a novel.
