We returned to the UK after living in the USA. We had a couple of standing lights we shipped and also some great illuminated christmas village stuff. They of course were 110 volt rated. These adapters solved the problem and are working well for us.

I have used this to plug in my Braun Sonic toothbrush charger that only draws 2 watts for the past 2 months and it worked fine. Yesterday I plugged in my laptop charger which draws 65 watts and after a couple of hours this transformer died. I will buy another one but make sure that I only plug electronics into it that are rated to 45 watts, no more.

Nice compact unit for small lighting load
The easy plug in transformer performed to specification at up to the rated load. A load of 100 by 110 volt coloured lights ran 24 hrs by 7 days over the christmas period. Read more

Works as described
This works exactly as described, been using it for a product up to 30VA, and it works fine, doesn't get overly warm, and no smell, works perfect.
