We previously had a Little Tikes Hideaway Art desk, but now that my son is walking and coloring, he wants to sit and do these activities the same time as big sister and the Little Tikes desk only had one chair...I ordered this specifically because it came with two chairs and it's a more open table. I LOVE that the table is vertical and has two vertical containers for storage. I am also very excited about the display easels at the top of each side of the table, four in total! I purchased some storage containers from Amazon in addition to this table, so I will have something to store our paints, coloring books, scissors and other art and craft supplies...The Little Tikes Hideaway Art desk had more storage areas, but like I said, this really doesn't bother me at all because the storage containers I bought are very travel friendly and they all fit nicely in the side of this tower that sits against the wall, under the tower, out of the way until they are needed. I highly recommend if you have two children that like to do arts and crafts. The only negative comment I have is that it's unfortunate that Step 2 isn't offering additional stools...as far as I can tell, they don't even sell additional stools to match...Other reviewers also wish that Step 2 offered additional stools....Hopefully if we all have the same idea, then maybe they will too =)
Also, as far as assembly goes, I STRONGLY encourage the use of an electric screwdriver...I used one and had it together in about 12 minutes, both stools and the tower! Shipping was absolutely amazing, I had this within two business days and only requested standard shipping! Shipping costs were extremely low as well!! Very happy and highly encourage you to purchase this product if you are thinking about it!!

i was excited to receive this product for my 4 year old. we like coloring and arts and crafts. it comes with 2 chairs,\ and i would say it was easy to assembly but i am not very handy. i was proud that i was able to put to together myself and i only had two screws left over (yes i missed a side). Read the directions, it helps. the hard part i had was getting the screws through the plastic but in the end it was worth it. I am also not used to assembling. so if i can do, anyone can. none the less my daughter and i love it. great purchase!

I bought this art tower for my grandchildren. They love coloring and drawing on it. They love having the little "bowls" to keep all of their crayons , etc in. I also find that the stools are pretty sturdy. It was also very easy to put together!
