However thin the premise the dancing is incredible and it's worth watching just for that.

You'll have seen the story time & time again.

Dance troupe need to win championship to avoid being evicted from the building (and spiritual home) they rehearse in. Rival dance crew wants them out to settle an old score. Will they win through? Oh, and a love story thrown in.

The story is fairly predictable and a bit unbelieveable however enjoyable! Bought mainly for the 3d and I was impressed, there are lots of in your face moments (big bubble at start blew me away) over all very enjoyable and great to show off your 3d tv

so this is the third Step Up... I've liked them all and the dancing never disappoints.

If you've enjoyed the first two, i would recommend watching this one.

I loved the first Step Up movie, but found the second to lack a lot of the chemistry of the first, so was a bit disappointed. With Step Up 3, things are back on form, and the dancing is so impressive that even my dad (who wasn't even meant to be watching) felt the need to comment on how awesome it was! The soundtrack is fantastic and provides a good mix of songs that fit perfectly around the setting. The main co-stars make a gorgeous couple, and are genuinely enjoyable to watch, but I like that some of the romance is split up with the tensions between Moose and his best mate. It helps to keep the story multidimensional, if you'll pardon the 3D pun. Sure, it's predictable in places, and a tad unbelievable at times, but it doesn't distract from the sheer entertainment value. Gleeks like myself will also be pleased to see an appearance from Harry Shum Jnr (aka dancer Mike Chang) towards the end. Highly recommended.

This was Brilliant! I have recently started getting into dance movies and after lovin the first two decided I HAD to have this one too!
It didnt dissapoint, Some Serious eye candy (kept both me and the boyf happy) and jaw-dropping dance moves, music was amazing, enough of a story line to keep you interested without bogging you down in anything that could be called complicated, its a great feel good movie with a great cast( Moose from step up2the streets keeps his charactor quirky and sweet) Great fun for a big girlie night in or a quiet night to yourself! Perfect!
Cant wait to see if they do another one, I'll be first on the list if they do!

This was definitely my favourite of all the Step Up films - like most dance films, you shouldn't watch them expecting a compelling storyline of any sort, I mean, it's all about the dancing isn't it! I enjoyed this alot more on the big screen than when I watched it at home on DVD - I don't think this was because of the 3D, but just because the music is cranked up and you can see the dancing in a lot more detail and get sucked into it more.

There are alot of corny lines (especially the first 5 minutes) but this is outweighed by the amazing dancing throughout - some of the stuff you see will make your jaw drop and wish you could move like that!

Watched this film in 2D at the cinema when it first came out, I then brought it on 3D Blu-ray to watch on my 3D TV, Brilliant film in 3D, Same old story line tho but it has Amazing dance moves and 3D effects, One of the best 3D Movies out if you like street dance movies, I like it, I cant wait till more good 3D films come out. 3D is the way forward for me in terms of films.

5 Stars all the way
