This thing is well made and does the job.
Mine came in the lightest of poweder blue and NOT the white they say it is. However we are using it in a blue room so I was not at all bothered by that.
When it folds flat it is 3" thick, but the total width at the top is about 7" because, as you can see, it has an angled safety grip that sticks out. But storing it has been easy despite this.
The steps are at 9.5" (24cm) and 19" (48cm).
It seems to me to be very good value.

Amazon Verified Purchase
Confusion 1 : I ordered two of these stepladders in the one order, but they were treated as two separate orders and sent by different couriers, one arriving a day later than the other, which I found rather odd.
Confusion 2 : Having read previous reviews of the product where reference was made to non-slip covering on the steps and a padded carrying handle, a description that was reinforced by the image accompanying my order confirmation, the units delivered to me had neither of these. They were just bare pressed metal painted white with no adornments.
They do the job so I'm keeping them, but I'm frankly annoyed and very disappointed that I have been mislead by the presentation on Amazon into buying something other than what I expected. Not a good experience.

Chaep and not so nice

Kitchen steps
As I am not that tall it is hard to reach the top of those cupboards in the kitchen. These steps are great - white so discreet and easy to put up and down.

Cheated and deceived??
