I am getting married in August this year, and this book is the most useful item I have bought so far - it's basically a huge list, by approximate date, of what needs to be done. Each item on the list is expanded out in smaller, more detailed lists later in the book, plus there are pages at the back to record all the details and suppliers and info on absolutely everything. It also tells you which bits are legal requirements, what's optional, and even has an on-the-day countdown, covering everything you need to do.
Covers civil/church wedding and marrying abroad. And best of all, each item has a little check box next to it, so you can feel really pleased with yourself as you start ticking everything off!
I am a list-lover anyway, and make them all the time to remind me what I need to do, so this book is just about perfect for me.
It doesn't set out to tell you why you do certain things, or how to solve any dilemnas you might have, but you can use the internet for a lot of that stuff. It's also not really a keepsake book (unless you want to reminisce on how much cash your wedding really did cost you!), but if you just need a running tally of where you are in the wedding whirlwind, this little book is brilliant.
