Book Description

21 Nov 2011
A supernatural detective thriller... not so much a 'who' done it - but more a 'what' done it! They lurk in the shadow places hoarding dark secrets and perpetrating terrible acts of murder and abuse. They will even steal your life. From this pit of malevolence comes an overpowering stench of evil. They are here and they live amongst us. Now they will face the light in their quest for the biggest prize of all... Journalist Benjamin Tallis has lost everything – his job, his wife, and his daughter to a hit-and-run driver. The awful visions he had as a boy have now returned with a vengeance. When Tallis experiences the crucifixion of a man in a country park, he tells Detective Inspector Roger Flowers. Flowers is sceptical of Tallis’s explanation, and believes he may have been involved in the crime. As crucial evidence emerges, there is a second murder, and Tallis is taken in for questioning. But this is far from an open-and-shut case. DI Flowers and Sergeant Kim Nasseri become embroiled in a world they never knew existed, as the forces of darkness and chaos wreak havoc, culminating in an explosive climax…

5.0 out of 5 stars A Gripping, Gory, Supernatural Page Turner!! 14 Feb 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
I really enjoyed this book and for this writers first supernatural thriller it really is first class. The story begins with a brutal crucifixion and if you can cope with the gore draws you in from page one! Be prepared though if you are not a horror fan you could find this a tough read. The story gathers pace throughout and has an explosive ending that you could imagine transferring easily to film. I highly recommend this and at under £1 for the Kindle version its a real bargain!!

5.0 out of 5 stars A real roller-coaster ride 13 Feb 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
I love reading detective thrillers, but wasn't sure whether I would like this because it's horror too. But I have to say I couldn't put it down! You just get carried away with the story and the characters. It's like a roller coaster-ride - especially the big build-up towards the end. Real page-turner, lots of cliff hangers. There's the opening chapter for the sequel at the end - I hope he doesn't take too long to finish it, as I'm itching to find out what happens next!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Out Of This World 5 Sep 2012
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
I can state without reservation that this is the best novel i have read in years. The author has drawn on his vast experience as a writer and researcher of the paranormal to create a novel of gripping readability and suspense. If there is any justice in the world then this novel, like the writers other factual books, will find translation into many languages.
