I have one of these in constant daily use. It has all the advantages of any induction hob; very fast and easy to keep clean. Being temperature controlled, it is easy to manage. The two hobs and controls are under a single glass plate, which is good because any accidental boil-overs are kept out of the works. The cooker stands quite high on the worktop, so the option to cut a hole in the worktop to drop the cooker into is worth considering.
Now the niggles, where improvement is possible.
1. The temperatures are shown numbered 1 to 8, so you have to bear in mind that 1 equates to 80, 2 equates to 100, 3 equates to 120 degrees centigrade, and so on. It would be better to display the actual temperature. Surely the differential cost between a one digit display and a three digit display can't be that much, so a redesign would be appropriate.
2. The internal fan is extremely flimsy and easily gets out of balance creating an annoying buzzing noise. I'm going to have to get mine seen to under the 2 year guarantee. It's exactly the same problem that sometimes happens with the fans in computer systems cases. The manufacture should fit a more robust, ball bearing fan.
