Because no one has done a review on this book yet I will, If you're a fan of the TV show this series of books are for you!! it's like a background on the TV show. So you wont be disappointed. I read the first book in a few hours; I got that hooked and I'm not much of a reader so enjoy! (:

Book two of the three book series.

The brothers leave Mystic Falls after they become vampires, and arrive in New Orleans where Stefan meets a small group of vampires and Damon is captured and forced to fight in a freaks circus.

That is the basic outline without spoiling your reading, again the book is easy to read and follow. Stefan and Damon are the only two characters from the show that we hear about.

I have read every one of L J Smiths books and although these are easy reading, they lack the flair of L J Smith.
As you may be aware she is not writing these books, they are simply based on her Vampire Diaries books so I do think the marketing leaves a lot to be desired.
I bought the first in this series after seeing the illustration and L J Smith and it was only later I noticed it was only based on her novels.

this book is amazing, just like the tv series and much more easier goin than the actual vampire diaries. only problem is i wish that the 3rd book would hurry up out! and that it would go quicker in time throughout the book but apart from that would recommend to any vampire fan

Read book 1 Origins yesterday - and this one today - the books are so short you can read them in a day .. this one tells the story of how Damon turned off his humanity to become what he is today ... it was really good. I dont remember any flashbacks in the show about him being caught by the freakshow circus .. but i enjoyed the story all the same. Looking forward to book 3 tomorrow!
