I am a big fan of Georgette Heyer, and as I have read all her regency romances, I thought I would read these two stories, by other authors. The fact that I have been spoilt by excellence in the past, made these stories less than satisfying. Without prejudice I have to say that there also seemed to be a bit of (Heyer) plagurism in both these stories - just my opinion.
If you want a really good regency romance then try: 'The Grand Sophy, 'Federica', 'Venetia', 'Arabella', 'These Old Shades' and the 'Devils Cub'. All of these are excellent and compelling reading, by Georgette Heyer, but be warned you will get hooked!
