I purchased this record player as a present for my husbands 30th. He was thrilled with it. It looks very vintage, very good quality and we were impressed with the volume and sound.

I was quite inpressed with the Steepletone Norwich record player. I found the retro style a fanstic closeness to that era of record players. I was in a its beautiful teak casing. I did find teh sound quality from its own built in speaks a little dull. however you can input audio leads from the record player to an amp.

If Im to judge on ratings for the whole thing. I would give it a good 7 out of 10.

You do feel that you are in teh retro years when using the record player. apart from the sound quality. I would give a 5 out of 10 for the sound.

In all it is a unique product to have. and looking at it from a distance. you do feel you are in that year of when the original record player was made.

other than the sound quality. I do like the record player. and I do reconmend it to anyone.

After looking around for a classically styled record player that had the mods of radio/aux/input etc I settled on this, more for looks than anything. The sound quality is...retro...old records sound great on it but it is not a hifi - if big sound is more your thing it does come with a line out to input into your 2.1/5.1 system or HiFi.

All the modern bits are at the back, apart from the USB input which is at the side, but subtle enough to not be noticed. I haven't used the USB function yet (preferring the AUX input instead for my ipod)

8/10
