I bought this as a gift for my wife as she was missing playing our vinyl records. I wanted to use my Ipod on the same machine, so when I saw this I thought it would fit the bill. What I failed to notice was that it will only allow MP3 players with up to 2GB of memory and so my Ipod won't work on it. We've kept the machine and retained my Ipod dock and speakers next to it. I must also point out that it is made of the flimsiest of plastics, especially the lid.
