These have smoothed my X8 Sidewinder mouse motion
to the point where it is properly useable for
gaming and CAD.
The PTFE pads are oval but stick well enough to the
rhomboid shaped feet of the X8.
Great for hard mouse surfaces.
Your mouse will be much faster and smoother as the pads
are nice and slippery.
(Can't comment on life span though as I have only had these
a few weeks.)

Fun:
I've always used Intellimouse 3.0/1.1 on CS and other FPS games. I love the glide on those mice and its really easy just to stick these to the bottom of any mice. The Xai or the Razer deathadder or even the MX518. Very slick!

Excellent value for money
These replacement mouse feet are slippery and hard-wearing.
They can be used on mice other than Microsoft (I have an ordinary optical Belkin)
