Product Description

Reduce time spent in the kitchen preparing meals with the help of this Steba electric pressure cooker - it cuts cooking times up to 70-percent when compared to traditional stovetop cooking methods. The unit traps steam inside, which builds up pressure to create hotter temperatures, and its tight seal locks in heat, moisture, and flavor, as well as vitamins and minerals for exceptionally healthy, great-tasting meals like soup, chili, and other one-dish entrees. It also works well for cheesecake and custard, because dessert should never be left off the menu. The unit's push-button controls and easy-to-read digital display eliminate guesswork, while its precision digital thermostat regulates temperatures. Choose from pre-programmed settings for high- or low-pressure cooking, browning, simmering, sauteing, and warming = or even grilling. For safety, the cooker must be fully locked for pressure to build, and it will remain locked until the pressure inside drops to zero. Other highlights include a timer with an LED countdown display, cool-touch side handles, and a nonstick cooking pot that cleans up easily by hand or in the dishwasher. Housed in brushed stainless steel, You are about to experience a better, faster, and healthier way of cooking. Your Electric Pressure Cooker seals in steam to cook hotter and faster, and it seals in nutrients as well. Cook in less water and experience textures and tastes that are simply sensational. Features easy touch-button settings, a countdown timer, and a cooking pot big enough for a pot roast with all the fixings. Enjoy! Dimensions - 31x28x30. 6kg in weight

5.0 out of 5 stars A pressure cooker to possess 12 Oct 2013

The design is smashing. It's operation is smooth and quiet. The control is simple and it works. Some of the cooking times you have to discover yourself. My fear is how do I get spare parts after the two years guarantee .

5.0 out of 5 stars Worth the extra 19 Jan 2014
Verified Purchase
Having tried another (cheaper) electric pressure cooker, we bought this one.

Easy to use and clean. Sensible controls. Good well cooked food.

The only negative is the instruction booklet. NO mention is made of water level, let alone ratio of liquids to solids. This seems to be a defect of all brands and IF the manufacturers realised that the 'burned on the bottom' defect was correctable by creating a simple guideline they could save the returns problems caused by solid to liquid ratio.

We are buying a second one for ourselves..... what more can I say

5.0 out of 5 stars great pressure cooker 19 Jun 2014

so far have only used for rice cooking and stock. Rice comes out perfectly every time - better than in a standard rice cooker. Stock cooked in half the time compared to on the hob. Main reason for getting this is the stainless steel bowl as wanted to avoid teflon non-stick coating. Good quality item from germany, although quite heavy and big to store.

5.0 out of 5 stars Neat! 9 Mar 2014
Verified Purchase
I bought this about 3 months ago so have played with it for a while now. It is a really neat, effective cooker, works like magic, food is cooked quickly and with a minimum of fuss or mess. So much better than the old style, terrifying pressure cookers with the wobbling weights on top! Only problem, no recipes but with a little ingenuity and a trip to the library that lack is easy to overcome.
