By A Customer
This video follows the line from Fort William to Mallaig passing beautiful scenery on route, including Ben Nevis. The video was produced by the same company that makes the Driver's Eye View series and, in fact this particular line has already been covered by them. The difference this time (apart from the weather being better) is that it is a Clive Anderson's Eye View. It contains views from the footplate of the train and also from the coaches where Clive chats to the passengers. This means that much of the scenery is missed to make way for views of Clive Anderson and the passengers.

Clive treats us to lots of his dry humour along the way but not everyone would find this to their taste.

The feel of the film is like the "Great Railway Journeys" series that was shown on the BBC a few years ago.

If you are interested in a view of the route or if you don't like Clive Anderson, I would recommend the Driver's Eye View tape. If you want the feel and atmosphere of the journey, then this tape is the better bet.
