This product comes highly recommended by several top quilt artists so I thought I'd give it a try. I found it very difficult to use. It absolutely falls off both its backing papers and then folds over onto itself if you so much as breath near it. I was trying to use it for some fiddly applique but it wouldn't stay on the fabric long enough to be pressed into place. The sheets I tried to use ended up in the bin and I resumed using regular (and beloved) Steam-a-Seam 2. Obviously some people really love this product. However I'd stick to regular Steam-a-Seam 2 unless you are very confident that you can use this product - preferably try it out somewhere before buying.

I am new to applique techniques and bought this to experiment. I have managed to use it on tiny fiddly little pieces with success. I used a hot iron (no steam) to make it stay in place (not in the instructions) and have found that I was able to remove the piece which I wasn't happy with. It certainly holds it well and becomes permanent when steam is used. I would buy this product again.
