This cd consists of twenty-one tracks ranging in length from under one minute to just over three minutes.
If you like Sebastien Tellier's albums 'Universe' or 'Sexuality' and purchase 'Steak' expecting more of the same, you'll be disappointed. Musically, this album is much closer in sound to Justice ('We Are Your Friends'/'D.A.N.C.E') or even the fractured beats of Jackson & His Computer Band than to Air. Saying that, there are a number of more quintessentially 'Tellieresque' tracks scattered around the album such as Letrablaise, Itea, Victimo, Exploites, and the fantastic-but rather short-Kinder.
I think this is the kind of album people will either love or hate. Personally, I think it's great.
