I have bought an endless supply of various weaning cups, those with the non-spill valves, the ones with spouts, the wonky designed Doidy cup (excellent) and this one too. My son is now 6 months old and I am keeping it on one side until he's a little bit older and sticking with the Doidy cup until he can tip the cup with spills. The advantages that this cup has over the other one is the lid and the bigger handles but I do think that it will suit an older toddler rather than trying to use it to wean.
