This product does exactly as advertised. It won't ever replace a tripod in studio situations but then it's not meant to. I have used it on country walks and have been very pleased with it's performance. When attached to smaller cameras it also gives something more substantial to hold onto. Overall, for the price, it's a useful piece of kit to have. The only negative point is that it is rather cheaply built of plastic (the pictures may make you believe that it is of sturdier metal construction).

This is perfect for those occasions when using a tripod is impossible - concerts, gigs, events - indeed anywhere that people can trip over your tripod! Consider public liability insurance costs! So this is in my kit for gigs, events and when out walking. No more heavy tripod on my shoulder if I see a great landscape. I simply pull it down and steady my camera (and myself!) and take my sharp shots.

Pocket Tripod
This is a well made gadget, although it is no susitute for a proper Tripod. It fits nicely in your pocket or camera bag and is very usefull where you cant take a Tripod with you. Read more
