Have you ever heard that U2 song where he sings, "I still haven't found what i'm looking for..." This book reveals the key: The Master Key. It is what I have been searching for all of my adult life (now 24). I have always been driven to progress myself, but alot of techniques for self-improvement sound good in principle but in practice are hard to implement. This book introduces the reader to a concept or philosophy known as Transactional Analysis (TA). It is much simpler than it sounds. The power of TA is in it's simplicity. Once you have grasped the concept you will find uses for it every day. My life is changing radically each day as I think about the concept. I can't recommend this book and TA in general enough.
