A book that will change your life for ever!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Staying Ok (Paperback)
Have you ever heard that U2 song where he sings, "I still haven't found what i'm looking for..." This book reveals the key: The Master Key. It is what I have been searching for all of my adult life (now 24). I have always been driven to progress myself, but alot of techniques for self-improvement sound good in principle but in practice are hard to implement. This book introduces the reader to a concept or philosophy known as Transactional Analysis (TA). It is much simpler than it sounds. The power of TA is in it's simplicity. Once you have grasped the concept you will find uses for it every day. My life is changing radically each day as I think about the concept. I can't recommend this book and TA in general enough. (if i had a pound coin for every person i recommended this book to....) If anyone would like to discuss TA with me please do so:

Great follow on,

This provides an excellent sequel to the first. I think anyone managing people at higher levels can use this for a good purpose and physically see the anarchy that people go through and not realising the how easy communication can be. It has provided excellent conversation with colleagues, friends and my partner and I have recommend it to co managers within my field of work. For any teachers or people dealing with students - once you have read the first you must read this. You can have a lot of fun with it but it's also an invaluable tools for certain problematic situations. And on a personal I have found it useful for reflection and improving myself and my own methods of communication and personal practice. Excellent and fascinating to sum it all up!!!

Some useful ideas,

I found this book a bit hard going but more up to date than I'm OK, You're OK. There were some useful ideas and clear examples but I don't think it's a book I would care to read a second time.
