I'm a huge Sandra fan but have been slightly disappointed with the last few albums and endless remix albums. This album sees Sandra return to the sound that launched her complete with her trademark ethereal vocals and whispering male backing vocal with startling effect. Pretty much all the tracks are good her with the standouts being the brilliant single Maybe Tonight, Love Starts with A Smile, Moscow Nights & Kings & Queens. The album reprises the 80's Europop/HI-NRG sound that made Sandra a little ahead of her time in the early 80's. Kings & Queen musically re-interprets Maria Magdalena quite brilliantly without sounding dated.

For a real 80's sound the Deluxe Edition brings out the Extended Mixes which deliver more 80's sound samples onto the tracks and will trigger the odd smile. Maybe Tonight loads 80's beat and claps whilst the synth heavy opening minutes of Love Starts with a Smile gave me goose bumps. Closing your eyes you could be easily transported back to an 80's club dancing to Kraftwerk and Human League.

It's that good.

All Sandra devotees will jump with joy on first hearing of this latest offering from the lady and collaboration with world famous Blank & Jones German producers/DJ combo, since the so80s release of Sandra's early most famous hits and b&j mixing the famous extended mixes this dream must have come true for the team.
Stay in touch is wonderful the tracks have been mixed to Sandra's perfection Euro pop at it's best with an 80's/2012 feel.
This release out weighs the last few offerings my advise is listen and buy, oh and close your eyes it could be summer again.

This is a long awaited production of Sandra for all her fans! A truly present for all of us. Excellent production and track selection. Also the voice of Sandra has been beautifully recorded. if you are a Sandra fan buy the deluxe edition of this album which contains 11 yes 11! extended versions. I can't emphasise how well produced and how good this album sounds. Just buy it and you won't stop playing in it....and dancing. You won't be disappointed

This album sees Sandra reaching, matching and dare I say it exceeding those heights from the 80's where she could do no wrong.

Every track is listenable and instantly likeable. Yes, it does sound more like 1985 than 2012, but I think that was the intention all along. Homage is paid to Maria Magdalena in Kings and Queens with that recognisable and distinct sound is elsewhere on the album. Before long you will be singing along and the catchy melodies will be stuck in your head.

I would say this album is for fans, but hopefully she will pick up some new ones as she certainly deserves to.

As a fan from years gone by, I am more than pleased by this. The bonus disc with extended tracks is even better than the album itself. The songs aren't remixed, they're expanded, so there's more to love. Brilliant, brilliant work. There is nothing negative to say about it. What a nice and refreshing surprise this is. Makes a change from this one collaborating with that one featuring the other one in a chart world where everything is sounding the same and rather plastic at the moment.

Sandra has long been one of my fav female artists- this new Blank & Jones produced CD is the best of hers for many years- euro dance perfection taking you back to the warm summers of the 80s- all tracks are very good- Maybe Tonight has got to be one of the best Sandra tracks ever (up there with my favourites Around My Heart & We'll Be Together). Disc 2 on the Deluxe version has extended remixes. If you love the eurodance/HiNRG sound of the 80s- you will love this CD

Like most of the other reviewers, I too have been a fan of Sandra's since the 80's. The brilliance of her first couple of albums have stood the test of time, and hardly a week goes by when I am not re-visiting a Sandra album (The Long Play, Mirrors, Secret Land & Paintings in Yellow).

Therefore it was very disappointing when after a long break, Sandra released 'The Art of Love'. Gone was the sound that I associate with Sandra, instead replaced with poor vocals and plain songs. I was sceptical when this was followed by 'Back to Life', but was pleasantly surprised by some truly outstanding tracks ('Just like Breathing', 'Never Before', 'Always on my Mind' & 'Who I Am').

When 'Maybe Tonight' was released earlier this year, it marked a welcome return to the sound of early Sandra releases. Not only musically, but vocally too. I couldn't wait for 'Stay in Touch' to be released and have to say that it was worth the wait. It is almost impossible not to like this album. Below is my track by track review

1. 'Stay in Touch' opens this album and what an opener it is. Excellent beat, fantastic lyrics, great vocals and the unmistakeable trademark pairing of Sandra & Hubert K. 10/10

2. 'Infinite Kiss' swiftly follows and continues with great verse but even catchier chorus. At 2:53 it is the shortest song on the album, but it still leaves its mark 8/10

3. 'Between Me & The Moon' slows things down ever so slightly. With an excellent backing track and lyrics Sandra is once again allowed to shine vocally 9/10

4. 'Maybe Tonight' was the teaser for this album and re-introduces the catchy verse and 'hook' chorus so typical of early Sandra songs 8/10

5. 'Moscow Nights' is another standout on this album.
