Dennis Waterman stars as Thomas Gynn, a London gangland refugee who heads north to escape old demons and attempt to carve out a new life in this popular, light-hearted drama series from Yorkshire Television. Co-starring Jan Francis (Just Good Friends), Emma Wray (Watching) and Niall Toibin (The Irish RM), this third series also features appearances by Celia Imrie, Michael Kitchen, Roger Lloyd-Pack, Amanda Burton and Julie T. Wallace.
Things seem to be going well for Thomas: he's started up his own business, and almost a year after he was abandoned by his significant other, Sally Hardcastle, she's suddenly back in his life. The unlikely couple have always shared more than money-making interests, and soon find their mutual attraction is as strong as ever. But shock-horror surprises, fiscal dilemmas and misadventure continue to dog Thomas and Sally; this series sees them trying to unravel the tangled finances of Sally's deceased Uncle' Leonard, and taking a seemingly innocent trip that sets off a chain of events with terrifying consequences...

once again Waterman portrays a frustrated and psychologically battered male extremely well. Brilliant show which explores an area of domestic relationship widely overlooked around the world, particularly in the shows era, while at the same time actually having an entertaining and addictive storyline. Well cast with the principal characters excellent.

Stay Lucky is well made, well acted but if you compare to present day comedy/drama it is dated (as it was made a few years ago). I have only seen the first episode. Nevertheless it is easy viewing and relaxing as well as entertaining so I will stick with it

excellent boxset.i felt series 2 lost its way a little.
but series 3 was far better.my only gripe is in the last episode
thomas ends up in prison and as there does not seem to be a
forth series i asume he is still there!

Great
If the first and second DVD's were enjoyed I am sure this one will be watched with much enjoyment. The scenery makes it easy watching.
