Product Description

Modern life can be a bit difficult. There are so many voices telling you what to do if you want to be healthy that it's quite tempting to ignore them and carry on as you are. innocent don't think it's that difficult to make some changes that will improve your life, for ever, and they're going to make it simple, straightforward and achievable. Because we all want to live longer, we all want to enjoy every moment, and we all want to delay buying trousers with elasticated waistbands until it's absolutely necessary. With this easy detox you'll learn how to change the bad habits of a lifetime - in just five days. There are no scary fads - carbohydrates and dairy are fine, drinking your own pee is not recommended, and alchohol is allowed. But after five days you'll be drinking lots of water, eating lots of fruit, veg and fibre and cutting down on bad fat. You'll have learnt how to exercise at your desk and clean out your cluttered brain, leaving you feeling vibrantly healthy.

5.0 out of 5 stars A wonderful little book, 8 Jan 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Stay Healthy. be Lazy: An Easy Detox by Innocent (Hardcover)
That infamous word "detox" - it's something we all want to do, but something none of us can be bothered trying, so I bought this book in the hope that it would be full of helpful hints and tips to do just what the title says: "Stay Healthy, Be Lazy". And I wasn't disappointed. It's a little book that talks you through the basic steps to a healthier lifestyle without being too scientific or well, just plain boring! It contains a few recipes for you to try, handy hints on how to have your 5 portions of fruit & veg everyday without even realising you are doing it. Same goes with the exercise section,... nothing to strenuous that will ruin your lazy ways, just enough to keep you in good form. It's also quite funny too! I highly recommened this book, it is my new bible!

5.0 out of 5 stars Be Very Lazy, 5 Jan 2004
This review is from: Stay Healthy. be Lazy: An Easy Detox by Innocent (Hardcover)
I bought this more out of hope than anything else, not being the most healthy of people. But it's turned out to be a bit of a lifesaver, full of practical tips that help even the laziest among us (i.e. me) to get in better shape. I'm always suspicious of books that promise to improve your health, but this book is different in that it incorporates all of the exercise and food tips into a normal person's life, so you won't even notice you're doing yourself some good. And it's quite funny too, especially the exercises that you can do on the loo. A welcome addition to anybody's bookshelf, especially if you're trying to get a bit fitter.
