Knowledge 28 Jun 2011
By Roderick - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover|Amazon Verified Purchase
This book is well worth the money. It gives step by step instructions on how and why things can be done in Excel and I enjoyed learning from this book in the month of June. As a full-time worker and a full-time student, people like us really need these type of books to simplify processes and to make us think outside of the box.

Quantitative Analysis for Managers 23 Oct 2011
By Mobile Alabama Shopper - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover|Amazon Verified Purchase
Man oh man. I passed this MBA course, but it was TOUGH. The content in this book is the stuff my nightmares are made of.....but at least I could follow the information. The subject matter is extremely time-consuming. I spent several hours everyday for 10 weeks studying this book. All of the details are there, but it just takes time to learn this material. I like the way the book is illustrated.

Excel guide is helpful; other content is lacking 26 Mar 2012
By K. Shaw - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover|Amazon Verified Purchase
Chances are you are checking out this text because it's the mandated book for a class; if so, I advise you to buy a cheap used copy or borrow it from another student. The only thing I found helpful about this book was the Excel guide. The definitions and explanations of concepts are lacking. I took stats years ago; when I was re-taking it this round, I found myself going back to my old textbook for clarification. This book will be enough to get you through knowing the formulas, help you figure out how to use Excel for stats... but if you really want to *understand* the concepts, there are better books out there.
