Format:Paperback
Written in a very accessible language, this book guides you through discovering the statistics and well beyond as it helps you in the not-so-easy exercise to connect statistical concepts to reality. That makes a difference when depicting reality in numbers.

A must for those comming into statistics wanting to build on solid ground.

Stats for dummies 6 Nov 2011
By J1
Format:Paperback
The book is fine, written in accessible language and full with good examples which make easier to comprehend the statistical concepts. However, if you need to prepare for a serious exam job interview/test you may want to use other sources too. Some small differences in terminology may also be found (for UK users).

Like all of Deborah Rumsey's books on statistics, this is very readable. It gives us a compact summary of the commonplaces of the subject, like the major distributions and tests. Recommended.
