Second album from the Strange Boudoir and a massive upping of the stakes. With a more confident and bigger sound the songs have also taken a big leap forward. An eclectic sound mixing the sturm und dang of Zepplin (Black Tree/Remember a Dream) with the motorik groove of Can (Stasis) and the elegiac sound of classic Floyd (Everything). There is also (almost)some more commercial stuff on How many Times and With All Due Respect. The lyrics (like the first album Inner Voice) are thematically linked dealing this time with people being trapped by their circumstances be it drugs, love, society etc. Oh and if you needed anymore reasons to give this intelligent exciting music a listen it has some of the best guitar work this side of nobody else. Check out Everything and Stasis for proof.
