An absolute great read. As the title illustrates, very brief, but insightful. Key lessons learnt and it's exciting to learn on how successful startups, have become so successful, just by making some key earlier choices!

There are many golden nuggets scattered within this book and I believe that one of the most valuable ones is that word of mouth is the most efficient way for startups to grow their user base.

Very Disappointing. This author has copied and pasted articles about a select group of companies and added a few superfluous words. And Hey Presto - He has a book to sell. Will you be inspired by this so called book ? Not in my opinion. Will you learn anything ? Yes . Not to waste money on this . There are many better books out there

A good book to start you thinking but many of the growth hack themes stay the same throughout the book

What I liked about this book was the insight gained. The core point of the book is that marketing is evolving and that marketeers need to understand and embrace growth hacking approaches (not going to call them tactics as it is much more than that). The structure of the book is great with a focus on the early days of each business and how each business growth path evolved.

Who should read this book ... Anyone with an interest in strategy, new product development, and of course marketing and sales whether you have a

Why I choose four stars... Very easy to read.

Really interesting book (possibly indispensable) that focuses on some of the common themes that today's hot startups used to power their early growth. I can see this being a bible of sorts in the years to come...

Interesting case studies, provides a basic view of the initial growth enablers behind some of today's success stories. No startling insights or magic bullets, but nonetheless worth the short read.

Almost everything was predictable till about thirty years ago. Then came Hotmail and life was never the same again. The generation of disruptive technologies was here. Another twenty years, and the generation of disruptive business startups came and they continue to amaze observers.

The author of this book has been observing the disruptive business startups for some times, and is in a position of authority to speak about them. In this book he does precisely that. He picks up some top disruptive business startups that grew beyond anyone's imagination. He introduces them, some of their characteristics, and posts some of his observations about why they became what they are.

This book will be a GREAT read for those geniuses among who who have disruptive business startups in their hearts and minds. Please do read this book before you proceed, and life will not be the same again for you!
