Creative gutsy ministry necessitates sustainability. Foundational exploration in a vision for a renewed church should engage all here. Attractively formatted with super aspiration, this is a pacey and inspiring read. Stories and tips abound in this USA & UK wide resource for the challenges of postmodern and challenging fiscal cultures. I only wished for great length and thoroughness in the content and detail. This is a vital, rare and practical tool to enable long-term multi-faceted mission to prevail.

It's hard to make a difference when you can't even buy yourself a cup of coffee to get yourself started. "Starting From Zero with $0: Building Mission -Shaped Ministries on a Shoestring" is a guide for the devoted minister with nothing but good intentions in hand. Becky Garrison draws on influence from grassroots ministry across the western world as people make the most of what little they have and get much possible positive impact for the little buck they have. "Starting from Zero with $0" is a must for those who want to change the world without having dead presidents to back you up.

Starting From Zero with ZERO help from this book!

I read this book expecting to find guidance in establishing a personal ministry. Instead all I found were a few anecdotal stories of other ministries that started as offshoots of other orgainzed and established religious entitites. There is LITERALLY nothing here that will actually help you set up a ministry or make money to get it going. The title is very misleading and so is the other "review".
