I really enjoyed this book and found it really helpful. It has some top tips for making your online business start-up a success. There are also some fantastic case studies. The layout of the book is creative and interesting and you don't get bogged down in page upon page of heavy copy. All in all, very well done.

Don't bother. No really don't bother. It doesn't even deserve one star. 99% of this book just states the obvious...and then they have copied the majority of material and information from the other startup books. The so called experts they use?? 'Just look at us we have made it and it is really simple because we are being paid to tell you rubbish and NOT the truth'.
You'll certainly won't get assistance or real useful advice from this book. It's all about spending thousands and thousands of pounds and then when your business collapses you've got an enormous debt.
Go seek a mentor??????????? Do you have any idea how much mentors charge a day!!!!! I do...£1200!!! A DAY!!
Go buy a computer, go seek advice, get yourself a solicitor, an accountant, an expert to help you, do a SWOT analysis, create a business plan and guess how much you'll spend on your products and guess how much profit you'll make the first year and guess how much time you will invest and guess how much you'll have to borrow for this year and for the next 3 years...etc etc.
The book also assumes that you've ALREADY started an online business. When I bought this book I wanted advice on how to START an online business (as the title suggests) not to teach my grandmother how to suck eggs and tell me how to run a business that is already trading!!
It is also a cheap and annoying advertising platform for SAGE. For the would be online business person to spend money and buy SAGE products. Obviously they must've paid for this book to get it published.
Ah yes, I nearly forgot...the statistics the ones you don't want to hear like, even a child can do it and that you do not need experience, that millions are doing it right now and so can you, that you are a failure or their is something wrong with you if you can't set up an online business now.
Maybe you should buy it but I've warned you, you'll be wasting your time and money.

This is supposed to be a book about online business. It doesent even mention AMAZON once!! Even e-Bay only gets a couple of pages. It is a hash of anecdotes from a few internet retailers from the past (all men) and is obviously sponsored by another out of date accountancy software firm like Sage. The rest of it is basic advice you can get from your Granny.
