I didnt use this to extend a fan power cable, but to wire up and LED strip.
I got it to rip one of the conectors off to wire it up to the LEDs and put the other into a fan conroller for power.
I got it mainly so I didnt have to rip a connector off my fan controller just incase I want to replace the LEDs with another fan in the future.
It does it's job however it's a little on the pricey side for what it is.

Difficult to review except to say it is exactly what it says it is, and if your PC fan header is at the bottom of your motherboard, and your system fan is at the top. you need one of these. Build quality is fine and it supports fan speed monitoring.
I bought some akasa fans for my case, but in what I can only assume was a cost cutting measure they had extremely short cables. This sorted it out perfectly. The fans have a 4 pin connector, but it works with this 3-pin extension without issue.
